Heart of Gold Campaign

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we need your help! Each year FGP holds a Heart of Gold Campaign. Through this campaign, we raise awareness about our organization and childhood cancer. With your support, we will reach more families dealing with all phases of a pediatric cancer diagnosis.

How can you help?

  • Wear gold on September 15th (Gold Out Day)
  • Wear gold ribbons or awareness bracelets
  • Post on social media about FGP and Childhood Cancer

  • Create a fundraising page to raise money for our Day of Giving (Click here for more information)
  • Attend our Day of Giving Kick-off Event
  • Donate on our Day of Giving
  • Donate Blood

Tutu Campaign:

In preparation for our Heart of Gold Campaign, we will be in the community in August, taking photos with tutus, fairy wings, and magic wands to spread the FGP magic! Set up a time using the Calendly link below to come by our office or for us to come out to your business to be part of our tutu campaign!

September 15th:

Gold Out Day

We’re asking that you help us by wearing gold ribbons or gold to show support and raise awareness for childhood cancer.

September 29th:

Day of Giving Kickoff Event

Come join us at Adventure Brewing from 4-8 to have a drink and help us kick-off our 24 hours of giving!

September 30th:

Day of Giving

Our goal is to raise both awareness and funds for FGP in 24 hours! You can help spread the word by posting on social media, making a donation, being a matching donor, an ambassador or sponsor for our Day of Giving.

Blood Drive

On the same day as our Day of giving, we will host a blood drive at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library Fredericksburg Branch from 11-4! Please register to donate blood through the American Red Cross’ website or volunteer to help with the drive itself.
