Heart of Gold Campaign
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we need your help! Each year FGP holds a Heart of Gold Campaign. Through this campaign, we raise awareness about our organization and childhood cancer. With your support, we will reach more families dealing with all phases of a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
How can you help?
- Participate in our Tutu Campaign to raise awareness
- Wear gold on September 15th (Gold Out Day)
- Wear gold ribbons or awareness bracelets
- Post on social media about FGP and Childhood Cancer

- Attend our Day of Giving Kick-off Event
- Donate on our Day of Giving
- Donate Blood
September 15th:
Gold Out Day
We’re asking that you help us by wearing gold ribbons or gold to show support and raise awareness for childhood cancer.
September 29th:
Day of Giving Kickoff Event
Come join us at Adventure Brewing from 4-8 to have a drink and help us kick-off our 24 hours of giving!
September 30th:
Day of Giving
Our goal is to raise both awareness and funds for FGP in 24 hours! You can help spread the word by posting on social media, making a donation, being a matching donor, an ambassador or sponsor for our Day of Giving.
Blood Drive
On the same day as our Day of giving, we will host a blood drive at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library Fredericksburg Branch from 11-4! Please register to donate blood through the American Red Cross’ website or volunteer to help with the drive itself.
